How we exhibit hypocrisy in every aspect of our lives from making money to saving lives and a secular critic of exclusive religions

When I look out in the world what do I see? A distribution of things and events which are disproportionately identified as beauty, ugly, good, bad and other dualistic classification. On the whole the society or kingdom of man is governed by creation and sustenance of hierarchies which themselves are created by man dictated by his own ideas. Being an Indian, I sympathize with the Indian government’s demand for easing of vaccine patents for mass scale production of vaccines which can ultimately help the Indian people overcome the disease and get back to the delusion of economic and social development which in the end are concocted by the society of man. However, being a man of privilege's I also understand (not sympathize) with the recent statements made by Bill Gates which support crony vaccine capitalism.

There is a psychological study which sums up humanity in a nutshell. When group of people were given two scenarios where they had to choose 1) The rest of the group will get a certain amount (say $100) which is more than what the individual would get (assume $50) 2) The whole group including the individual will get a meagre amount of $25. And overwhelmingly the people choose option B. And this my friends is Marxism, humanism and all justice in a nutshell. Equality is nothing but a refuge sought by the failed.

The have’s parade the philosophy of freedom and merit while themselves practicing nepotism and malpractices which prevent the have nots from practicing their freedom while the have not’s preach the philosophy of equality while many themselves being more equal than their equal comrades. If there ever has been one philosophy that applies to all is the philosophy of hypocrisy.

Hypocrisy of Religion

Example: Christianity (jumping on the western secular bandwagon of Christian criticism)

I remember the other day some Christian youtuber was playing the victim card that if you are Christian you will be persecuted as if some random guy walking on the street has a problem with his religion, the random guy only has a problem when the missionary (who by no fault of his own is indoctrinated to believe that he is doing god’s work) starts attacking this random Joe’s beliefs. And until God doesn’t reveal to them Matthew 6:12 “Treat others the way you want to be treated yourself” and puts him in a situation where some other religious preacher starts attacking his beliefs he will not realize the sheer hypocrisy. It’s funny how my secular indoctrination is making me feel uncomfortable critiquing them.

Just to be clear when I mean Christian I don’t mean the average Joe who goes to church every Sunday, prays for a better career and a chance with the woman he likes, because that guy is as Christian as Bill Gates having compassion. He and I are literally on the same boat I am sure he is as tired with these missionary work as I am with Hindutva work at least

I am not anti religion but I am anti any religion which involves affirmation of difference and exclusivity. All religions which practice this though preach individual salvation are group religions with hierarchy and a certain authority holding power over every aspect of people’s life. Religion dictates the individual’s family, friends, career choices etc. creating a static identity in an ever changing society and where there is a difference in identity there is a conflict take Christianization of Rome and Islamization of central Asia and middle east. What’s hard for me to digest is that the biggest raping plunderer of all times Genghis Khan would have in theory never burnt a woman on pyre accusing her witchcraft (he would have made her his concubine irrespective of her religion) which a middle age Christian pastor preaching love 24/7 would and of course Christian Kings were more than willing to commit other atrocities that Genghis Khan committed if they were able. In this case, I feel Islam is less hypocritical where it never preached love, The origin of Islam is clear that Islam was a political ideology which only later with the benevolence of some wise men came up with Sufism which is apparently is true Islam these days. I am supposed to be a Hindu but unfortunately or fortunately I haven’t been raised as one and as a result I missed the train which would have created strong religious world views leading me to be fed up with everyone. I will not bash Hinduism because any way Indian secularists do it, I am only here to bash other anti secular beliefs because I am of the mentality that all religions should be respected as well as criticized equally.

The best part about a religious person is that he/she enjoys the degradation of other religions, SO MUCH LOVE.
